How I handle your data
Short and without legalese: what this site knows about you, where it goes and how to get rid of it.
Data controller
Lukáš Voplakal, Prague. Anything about this page, write to lukasvoplakal@webcobalt.com – I reply within 24 hours.

What the contact form collects
Your name, email and a description of the job – without those I have no way to reply. Optionally a phone number, a company name and answers about the job: budget, timing, what the site needs to do. Questions you leave blank are not sent.
Why I need it
To reply to you and put together a quote. The legal basis is steps taken before entering a contract – that is, your own wish to order something. I use the data for nothing else and sign you up to nothing.
Where it goes
Into no database. The answers go straight to me as an email, through Resend, which handles delivery. The site itself runs on Vercel, which like any host keeps access logs.
How long I keep it
Until we agree on a job, or until it is clear nothing will come of it – then I delete the message. If we do work together, I keep the correspondence for as long as it lasts and afterwards for the period the accounting rules require.
What the site stores in your browser
Only your settings: light or dark mode, the currency you picked in the price list, and the fact that you dismissed the other-language notice. It stays in your browser, never reaches me, and disappears when you clear the site's data.
The site does not track you
There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel and no other traffic measurement, which is why no cookie banner jumps at you. If that ever changes, it will be written here before it is switched on.
Protection against bots
So the form is not flooded by automated traffic, it counts for ten minutes how many submissions came from your IP address. The count lives only in the memory of the running server, is written nowhere, and clears itself.
What you can do about it
Ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to the processing altogether. Just write to the address above. If you feel I am not handling it properly, you can turn to the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.cz).
